About this expansion
Village: Customer Expansion is an expansion for the Village base game that adds four bonus customer tiles for 2–4 players, with a play time of approximately 90 minutes. Released in 2012, it gives players new ways to pursue prestige points through customer rewards.
Each customer presents a different requirement or scoring opportunity. The first tile can be taken for free, although you may still need to pay 1 green influence cube and 1 time. At the end of the game, it is worth 1 prestige point.
- Tile 1: Take it for free, with the possible cost of 1 green influence cube and 1 time; score 1 prestige point at the end.
- Tile 2: Spend a scroll, then score 1 prestige point for every 2 customer tiles you own, including this tile.
- Tile 3: To serve it, own the next starting player marker and return that marker to the council chamber; score 3 prestige points at the end.
- Tile 4: Spend 1 horse and 1 ox to score 7 prestige points at the end.
These four customers offer varied paths to end-game scoring, combining resources, customer collection, and control of the next starting player marker. Some rewards are modest and accessible, while others ask for specific resources or a more valuable condition.
Designed to be added to the Village base game, Village: Customer Expansion is a compact addition focused entirely on new customer tiles and their distinct prestige-point effects.
