About this board game

Virus! MARVEL is a standalone game for 2–5 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Choose favorite Marvel heroes and heroines, assemble a team of four different ready heroes, and race to complete your super team before your rivals do.

Each player begins with three cards. On your turn, play cards into your area, or discard cards to get new ones. Build your team with hero cards, then use power cards to protect it from the sabotage tactics played by other players.

• Hero cards: Add characters to your area as you work toward a team of four.
• Power cards: Protect the heroes you have assembled.
• Villain cards: Target rivals to weaken or capture their heroes.
• Action cards: Alter the game and help you move closer to victory.

The game keeps the fast-paced, thrilling mechanics associated with Virus! while adding a Marvel theme. You will need to gather different heroes, avoid the villains sent your way, and respond to the changing play area as opponents try to slow you down.

Victory goes to the first player who assembles four different ready heroes. Will you bring together the Avengers, or will your team fall to the villains? In Virus! MARVEL, every card played can help complete your team—or disrupt someone else’s.
