Warfighter Shadow War: The Modern Night Combat Card Game is a cooperative card game for 1–6 players, with missions designed to take about 90 minutes. Players work together against the game system to complete modern special forces, squad-level combat missions.

At the beginning of each mission, each player selects a soldier and equips that soldier with skills, weapons, and combat gear. Your choices must stay within the mission’s Resource limit, making preparation an important part of the operation before the team moves into action.

Shadow War focuses on covert Night Missions. It expands on the Night Combat rules first introduced in the Warfighter Modern Footlocker Expansion, bringing those rules into a standalone Warfighter boxed game with the content needed to play.

As with all Warfighter games and expansions, Warfighter Shadow War is compatible with the other Warfighter games. This makes it a standalone entry for modern night combat while also allowing it to connect with the wider Warfighter range.
