About this board game
Zombie Plague is a 2001 board game for 2–6 players that takes about 60 minutes to play, pitting humans against zombies inside a house.
One team controls the humans, who must race to barricade every door and window. While searching the house, they also look for helpful items that may support their desperate effort to secure the building.
The opposing team plays the zombies. Their goal is direct and menacing: find the humans and eat them. This creates a clear conflict between survival and pursuit, with both sides focused on a different way to win the struggle inside the house.
- Humans: Search the house for helpful items and barricade all doors and windows.
- Zombies: Pursue the humans with the aim of eating them.
Somewhat reminiscent of the Dawn of the Dead board game, Zombie Plague presents a team-versus-team contest built around a race to secure the house. The humans must divide their attention between preparation and searching, while the zombies concentrate on catching their opponents.
With room for 2–6 players and an approximately 60-minute play time, Zombie Plague offers a focused human-versus-zombie experience for groups looking for a tense battle between barricading defenders and hungry attackers.
