About this board game
Dungeon Command: Heart of Cormyr is a card-driven skirmish game for two players, with a play time of approximately 90 minutes. Battles unfold on modular interlocking map tiles as rival commanders lead their warbands into combat.
Take the role of a commander responsible for recruiting troops and deploying them on the battlefield. Use order cards to direct your creatures, then outfit them with spells and equipment while shaping your tactics around the developing fight.
The goal is to reduce your opponent’s Morale to 0 or below while preserving as much of your own Morale as possible. You can also win if your opponent ends a turn with no creatures on the battlefield, making both battlefield presence and morale important to the outcome.
- Includes twelve miniatures, including a ranger, cleric, knight, defenders, and archers.
- Uses creature cards, order cards, spells, equipment, and modular map tiles.
- Quick-start rules support a shortened two-player game using only one box.
Each Dungeon Command faction is designed for a single player. The game is built for two players, while advanced rules allow up to four players with a few adjustments.
Dungeon Command: Heart of Cormyr can integrate with other Dungeon Command factions, including Blood of Gruumsh, Curse of Undeath, Sting of Lolth, and Tyranny of Goblins. It can also integrate with the Castle Ravenloft, The Legend of Drizzt, Wrath of Ashardalon, Temple of Elemental Evil, Tomb of Annihilation, Waterdeep – Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and Ghosts of Saltmarsh board games.
