Cape May is a strategy board game for 1–4 players, with an approximately 120-minute play time, in which entrepreneurs develop property and build wealth across four seasons to earn prestige.

Players traverse the city streets, making careful decisions about where to invest and how to grow their holdings. Begin with cottages, develop them into Victorian homes, and upgrade them again into historic landmarks. Shops can likewise grow into profitable businesses, creating new opportunities as the city develops.

Success depends on balancing several competing priorities. Manage your income, development, movement, and personal goals while choosing when and where to take action. Activity cards provide another strategic tool, helping shape your plans as you move through the game.
