About this board game

Deep Blue is a press-your-luck and engine-building family game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 45 minutes. In the role of competing ship captains, players race to uncover wealth from ancient, legendary, and extravagant underwater wrecks.

Each captain must assemble the right crew of divers, sailors, and archeologists. With diving suits and oxygen tanks aboard, players must also race to wreck sites and claim the best spots from which to dive. The seas hold more discoveries, so scouting for new wrecks is another important part of the treasure hunt.
