About this board game

Varuna is a standalone flip-and-write game for 1–100 players, designed to play in around 20 minutes. Set in the same universe and graphic style as Ganymede and Demeter, it takes you from the familiar setting of Ganymede to a very different destination: Varuna, an oceanic moon.

You take the role of a scientist who has just boarded a ship departing from Ganymede. Your mission is to explore this new environment, discover the dinosaurs living there, and study them in their oceanic habitat.

Varuna centers on a clear competitive objective: score the most Mission Points. These points represent your ability to make discoveries and conduct scientific study, giving your expedition a measurable goal as you investigate the moon.
