Yggdrasil (Second Edition with Asgard Expansion) is a cooperative game for 1–6 players, with a play time of 75 minutes. As mighty Norse gods, players must work together to repel the advancing Evil Forces and ensure that Yggdrasil survives the coming Ragnarök.

Yggdrasil, the cosmic ash tree that supports the nine worlds, is in jeopardy. The last battle, foretold since the dawn of time, has begun, and the gods face a relentless advance through a universe at war. Their shared objective is to prevent Evil from destroying Yggdrasil.

Players take on the roles of gods among the Æsir and Vanir. Success depends on facing the threat together and sacrificing everything necessary to protect the cosmic tree. The game’s cooperative focus places the fate of Yggdrasil in the hands of the entire group.

This edition includes the Asgard expansion, adding twelve double-sided god tiles. Each tile presents a god’s usual power on one side and a Trance power on the other, giving the included edition an expanded set of god powers to bring to the final battle.
