About this board game

Take It to the Limit! is an advanced hex-tile game for 1–6 players, with a 45-minute standard game and a quicker 25-minute Orchid option.

Building on the original Take It Easy!, it expands the play area with larger boards and 64 tiles in each set. Four different colors run in each direction, while the tiles are divided evenly between sun and moon tiles. Gold and Silver bonus tiles add another way to increase your score.

• Nexus board: Use all 64 tiles across a challenging layout designed for a 45-minute game.
• Orchid board: Choose either sun or moon tiles for a stylish, distinctly different game lasting about 25 minutes.
• Bonus scoring: Complete scoring rows in all three directions through Gold and Silver tiles to add their values to your total.
• Tile management: Set aside unwanted tiles in the Nexus board’s Scrap Yard, or use Orchid symbols to reserve them for possible relocation.

On the Nexus board, careful placement lets you interlace sunrays and moonbeams with your other scoring rows. The Scrap Yard offers a way to dispose of tiles that do not fit, but an untidy yard can bring penalty points.

The Orchid board offers a different approach. Special orchid symbols let you set aside unwanted tiles, with the option to relocate them at the end of the game and potentially improve your score. With its double-sided boards, bonus tiles, and distinct sun-and-moon choices, Take It to the Limit! offers a larger and more demanding development of the original game.
