Sky Tango

About this board game

Sky Tango is a card game for 2–4 players that takes about 20 minutes, challenging you to create sun and moon cycles as the cards trace the passing of time.

The deck contains numbered sun and moon cards, some featuring animals, along with eclipse cards. Players build stacks in ascending order, placing them either in front of themselves or in front of other players.

When a stack reaches five cards, it can be removed and scored for points. The goal is to remove as many cards from play as possible, but creating a successful sequence is not always straightforward.

• Build ascending stacks with numbered sun and moon cards.
• Place stacks in front of yourself or another player.
• Use the appropriate cards to cover eclipses and continue a stack.
• Play animal cards to take another turn.

Eclipse cards interrupt stacks and can disrupt the paths you are building. However, they do not end the cycle permanently: the appropriate sun or moon cards can cover them, allowing the sequence to continue.

Animal cards add another twist by letting you play again. An extra play can be advantageous when it helps complete a stack, but it can also create an unwanted opportunity or complication.

In Sky Tango, timing your plays matters as you balance your own cycles with stacks placed in front of others. Remove the most cards from play, and your solar and lunar paths will lead you to victory.
