The Hanging Gardens is a strategy game for 1–5 players that takes about 30 minutes, challenging gardeners to build the most beautiful garden for King Nebuchadnezzar II and Queen Amytis.

Across 4 rounds, each player uses 3 Gardeners to select and place 3 Garden cards. Turns proceed clockwise, making each decision part of a shared flow of choices as players plan their own growing garden.

Strategic card placement is at the heart of the game. Arrange cards to create connected groups, fulfill objectives, position features effectively, and optimize available bonuses. Every placement can help shape a more impressive garden while supporting your path to victory.

After the fourth round, players total their victory points. The player with the highest score wins. If players are tied, tools and gold coins break the tie; if they remain tied, those players share the victory.
