About this board game

The Guardians of Haversack is a 2022 strategy game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Players lead teams of guardians striving to liberate the Kingdom of Havresac from a terrible curse while gathering glory, gold, and victory points.

Every guardian on your team is kept in your bag, and each one has a special role and ability. During each round, draw your guardians successively from the bag and use them on your own kingdom board. Careful planning is essential, because every guardian you play allows the next one to travel farther into the kingdom.

Use your growing reach to pursue heroic objectives and make progress throughout Havresac. Your guardians can help you:

• Rebuild villages
• Fight off monsters
• Free fairies in time
• Open treasure chests

These heroic acts grant points toward the final victory and also provide gold. Spend that gold to recruit new guardians, expanding your bag and refining your strategy as the game develops.
