About this board game

Monster Baby Rescue! is a board game for 2–5 players that takes about 40 minutes, in which players care for sad, lost, and ill baby monsters from a fantastic world.

Each player chooses a personal Monstie: Dragon, Mandrigora, Ork, Basilisk, or Kerberos. Using tiles displayed on the table, players groom their creature, provide places to play and rest, and give it diamonds for play or decoration.

• Groom particular parts of your Monstie’s body.
• Use playground and cosy-place tiles to care for your creature.
• Spend diamonds to play or decorate.
• Visit magicians who act as vets.

Every tile has a different price, paid in steps by moving your Monstie along the time track. The next player is the one whose Monstie is furthest behind, creating a distinctive turn order and allowing that player to take the cheapest tiles still available on the table.

Players score points from bonuses on tiles and from the levels they groom, improve, and use to take care of their Monsties. The result is a caring and competitive tile-selection game focused on improving a fantastic companion while managing time and available choices.

In Monster Baby Rescue!, looking after a baby monster means balancing tile prices, turn order, and point-scoring opportunities. Its collection of grooming, care, playground, cosy-place, diamond, and magician tiles gives each rescue a clear theme within a compact 2019 tabletop experience.
