About this board game

Echoes of Emperors is a medieval-themed strategic card and board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Develop an empire’s army, economy, and technologies while maneuvering units across new lands and confronting rival civilizations.

Choose from six distinct civilizations, each offering a different identity for your campaign: Norsemen, Byzantines, Mongols, Scots, Ottomans, or the Holy Roman Empire. Explore, establish settlements, and build economic prowess as you shape the destiny of your civilization.

Cards activate units and technologies, giving you tools to direct your strategy. Combine these card-driven actions with movement, expansion, and military decisions as you seek to outmaneuver your opponent and strengthen your empire.
