The King of Frontier

About this board game

The King of Frontier is a board game for 2–4 players, with a play time of approximately 30 minutes, in which pioneers develop a settlement into an epic Kingdom.

Choose your land and structures carefully to optimize the resources your settlement produces. Each turn, select one action and carry it out, gradually shaping your frontier and expanding your board.

• Develop: Add to the growth of your settlement.
• Produce: Generate resources from your chosen land and structures.
• Build: Construct buildings for your Kingdom.
• Consume: Perform the consume action as part of your turn.

Victory Points are awarded at the end of the game for the size of your settlement, the buildings you have constructed, and the resources you produce. Careful choices throughout the game help you optimize these areas and pursue the highest score.

The game ends when one of several conditions is met: the tile stack runs out, there are no more Victory Point tokens, or a player has filled all the spaces on their board. These possible endings keep the focus on developing your settlement while watching the available tiles, tokens, and board space.

In The King of Frontier, every turn presents a choice between four actions as you work to transform your starting frontier into a thriving Kingdom. When the game ends, the player with the most Victory Points wins.
