Dark Dealings

About this board game

Dark Dealings is a quick drafting and combat game for 1–6 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Each player takes the role of an evil Overlord defending a dark castle while Heroes gather to drive them from their stronghold.

The local races have had enough of singed villages and poisoned wells. Warriors, thieves, paladins, and wizards are banding together, and the Overlords must call on powerful Dark Masters for help. These mysterious beings can provide dastardly traps, potent spells, and decaying corpses for reanimation.

Players begin by drafting Heroes. They then use those Heroes to bid for the Defenses that will ultimately bring about their downfall. The game combines tactical selection with a darkly comic struggle for survival, as every choice can shape the coming siege.

• Draft Heroes before the battle begins.
• Use your Heroes to bid for powerful Defenses.
• Take turns flipping and fighting your previously drafted Heroes.
• Compete to be the last Overlord standing.

As the siege unfolds, Overlords must face the very Heroes they drafted while relying on the dangerous gifts of their Dark Masters. The result is a fast-moving contest of drafting, bidding, and combat in which your neighbors are rivals and every castle is under threat.

With support for solo play and games of up to six players, Dark Dealings brings its supernatural siege to the table in a compact experience. Survive the Heroes, withstand the assault, and prove that your Overlord is the one most capable of defying doom.
