About this board game

3 Tricky Pigs is a thematic trick-taking game for 3–5 players, with each game lasting about 60 minutes. Players take on the roles of the three little pigs and compete to win tricks while judging how many they can claim.

The central twist is the presence of the wolf. When no wolf is in a trick, the laziest pig wins it. If a wolf appears, however, the highest card takes the trick instead. This changing condition makes every play matter and gives the cards a distinctly story-driven character.

At the beginning of each round, players bid on how many tricks they expect to win. Points are awarded for making the correct bid, so success depends on more than simply taking as many tricks as possible. You must assess the situation, choose your target, and adapt as the trick develops.
