Casting Shadows: Exclusive Edition is a 2–4 player board game with an approximately 60-minute play time, released in 2023. This Kickstarter Exclusive Edition includes the base game in a specially upgraded presentation with alternate artwork and a range of exclusive components.

The game comes in a magnetic box with a removable sleeve featuring the standard edition art. The upgraded box is designed to accommodate sleeved cards, as well as the cards and components in the Ice Storm Expansion Pack.

Two Kickstarter Exclusive Player Boards add alternate versions of the characters Iris Papillon, Iris The Obscure, Tusk Swiftwave, and Tusk The Tidemaster. Three exclusive hex tiles further expand the edition’s component selection with Glimmering Woods, Coral Ridge, and Crystal Crypt.

The collection of 15 exclusive standard-sized cards includes:

• 4 Companions: Vital Shroom, Dark Flutter, Lil’ Shadow, and Hammerhead Harvester.
• 3 Resource cards: Purple Orb, 2 Shadow Fragment, and Purple Gem.
• 3 Attack Spells: Coral Katana, Venomous Strike, and Warp Drop.
• 2 Conversion Spells: Gem Alchemy and Orb Alchemy.
• 3 Counterspells: Worst Curse, Unexpected Attack, and Fly Away!
