About this board game

Bowl Bound is a college football game for 1–4 players, with play sessions lasting about 120 minutes, in which you quarterback a favorite team in pursuit of a National Championship.

Avalon Hill statisticians scouted leading college teams from the past, then computer-analyzed the actual play-by-plays of their games. The results were converted into easy-to-use Play/Action Team Charts, designed to make each game fast, exciting, and true-to-life. Your decisions remain central, however, and your choices can make the difference between winning and losing.

Use the supplied reference materials to manage the action, including play and defensive formation selection, kickoff selection, priorities, timing, and the game legend. The football field, football marker, yards-to-go marker, scorepad, and dice support the flow of play while you guide your team down the field.

The team lineups span notable college squads from different seasons, including teams from the 1960s, 1970s, and later editions featuring teams from 1979 through 1988.
