About this board game

Minecart Town is a tile-placing game for 1–4 players that takes about 45 minutes. Across four rounds, you guide settlers as they develop a pleasant and profitable town in a promising new land.

Your town begins surrounded by raw resources. Construct buildings, produce resources, and connect your growing settlement with railroad tracks. The resources generated by your buildings must be transported to other buildings through the minecart network you create.

Victory points come from several aspects of your developing town:

• Constructing buildings
• Producing resources
• Building railroad tracks
• Running an efficient minecart transport network

Most of the action takes place simultaneously, giving each round a brisk and focused rhythm. With limited resources available, every choice matters as you work to optimize your town and make the most of its production and transport connections.
