About this board game

Einauge sei wachsam! is a treasure-collecting board game for 2–5 players, with a playing time of about 45 minutes. Originally released in 2009, it challenges players to gather Captain Einauge’s treasures and finish with the most diamonds.

The game features eight colors of treasure cards. Players purchase these cards with money, then immediately receive the rewards shown on the newly acquired card. The purchase can also activate the rewards on all previously bought cards of the same color, making each color an important part of a growing collection.

• Sabers are used to fight for cards with Captain Einauge.
• Treasures provide diamonds for majorities in each color.
• Diamonds determine the winner at the end of the game.

Players must decide which colored cards to buy and when to build on an existing color. A new purchase can provide its own reward while also collecting the rewards of earlier cards in that color, giving card selection a direct effect on the treasures, sabers, and money available during play.

Sabers add another way to compete, as they are used when fighting Captain Einauge for cards. Meanwhile, treasures matter for the final scoring: players earn diamonds through majorities in each color, so collecting cards is connected to the contest for end-game rewards.

In Einauge sei wachsam!, every purchase contributes to the race for diamonds. When the game ends, the player with the most diamonds wins.
