About this board game

Gorkamorka is a tabletop miniatures wargame for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 120 minutes. Released in 1997, it is built around conflicts between Orks stranded on a dead planet.

Players design their own Ork mobs, combining a small number of warriors with vehicles. The central struggle divides the Orks into two factions: the Gorkers, who believe in the god Gork, and the Morkers, who follow Mork.

Vehicles play a distinctive role in the game. Trucks, wartraks, and bikes use a unique movement system as mobs search for riches and attempt to beat up rival mobs. This gives Gorkamorka a strong focus on mobile encounters between competing crews.

Like Necromunda, the game allows players to build up their mobs over time. However, Gorkamorka brings a more humorous appeal to its tabletop conflicts, giving its battles a character distinct from a straightforward war game.

  • Players: 2–4
  • Play time: approximately 120 minutes
  • Core forces: Gorkers and Morkers
  • Vehicles: trucks, wartraks, and bikes

The Digganob expansion adds further variety to the setting. It introduces Muties, described as mutant riders, and Diggas, humans obsessed with Orks, along with additional scenarios and special characters.

With customisable mobs, vehicle-based movement, rival factions, and a humorous setting, Gorkamorka offers a distinctive miniatures experience focused on Ork conflict, exploration for riches, and clashes across a dead planet.
