About this board game

Letnisko is a family-friendly worker placement game for 2–5 players, with an average play time of 45 minutes. Set in the 1930s, it places you in the role of a landowner developing a fashionable summer resort along the Warsaw–Otwock railroad.

Vacationers arrive by train, and competing resort owners must provide the kind of accommodation that will attract them. Earn money from festive Polish and Yiddish holidaymakers, then invest your income in pine-covered parcels, inexpensive cottages, comfortable villas, and luxurious pensions.

The standard of your resort affects the guests you can attract, but less-demanding tourists remain important, especially when bad weather keeps more selective visitors away. Anticipate changing trends, invest your capital at the right moment, and work toward becoming the most respected figure in the Letnisko–Falenica community.

Each player begins with two family members, represented by action tokens, and one house. Players take turns sending their tokens to available action fields. Once all action tokens have been placed, they return to their owners together with the benefits of the selected actions.
