About this board game

Super Mario: Level Up! Board Game is a 3–6-player game that takes about 30 minutes, in which players advance Mario and his pals through the Mushroom Kingdom toward the castle.

Each player begins with a unique lineup of characters and aims to score the most points with them. On a turn, a player moves any character higher up the board, creating a shared race in which every move can affect the developing competition.

When a character reaches the top board, the players vote on whether that character stays in the Mushroom Kingdom or is kicked off. A single NO vote is enough to remove the character, so every player must use their limited votes carefully.

• Move any character upward on your turn.
• Vote on characters that reach the top board.
• Use only two NO votes during the game.
• Score points and continue into another round.

The round ends when a character is unanimously voted to stay at the top. Players then score their points before starting the next round, continuing to advance characters and pursue the best overall result.

Super Mario: Level Up! Board Game lasts three rounds, giving players repeated opportunities to improve their scores. Along the way, they challenge one another to gather the most coins and reach the castle at the top of the board.
