About this board game

Par Odin is a solo narrative game for 1 player, with an average play time of 30 minutes, in which a human warrior attempts to earn a place at the table of the gods.

Legend says that one day, a human will come to the kingdom of Ásgard and play alongside the gods. In this evolving journey, you will face 50 challenges as you gradually discover the game’s mechanical richness and its world of Nordic mythology.

Each challenge asks you to split the designated dice into two equal parts in terms of value. The dice represent nine values in total, and success depends on arranging them correctly between the two sides.

The task may sound straightforward, but the dice interact in different ways. Some can be reduced, some are doubled, and some cancel out other dice, creating changing combinations to evaluate in each challenge.

For example, a Fighter is worth 1 point. If you have four Fighters, you must place two on each side so that their values are divided equally. As new effects come into play, the same core idea develops into a richer series of puzzles.
