About this board game

Imagician is a 20-minute drawing and guessing game for 2–4 players, where players connect revealed ingredients to discover hidden shapes and identify what they represent.

Each round begins when an imagic spell made of several ingredients is revealed. All players simultaneously connect those ingredients on their own board, creating a drawing one line at a time. The first player to recognize the shape can write down a guess, even while the drawing is still incomplete, and start a countdown for everyone else.

When the countdown ends, players score points if they correctly guessed what their shape represents. This creates a fast race between careful observation, quick interpretation, and the pressure of limited time.

Imagician reinvents the familiar dot-to-dot concept by turning it into a simultaneous guessing challenge. The shapes are not simply revealed at the end: players must decide what their developing drawing represents and act before the other players do.

A short tutorial in the first game introduces the different codes and helps everyone get started immediately. With its combination of connecting, interpreting, and racing to answer, Imagician offers a compact way to discover a changing collection of mysterious objects.
