The Pirate Republic is a modular open-world adventure and deck-building game for 1–5 players, with sessions lasting around 90 minutes. Set in 1713 during the sunrise of the Golden Age of Piracy, it casts each player as an infamous pirate captain pursuing mission objectives across three rounds.

The game supports a range of experiences, from fully cooperative play to fully competitive contests. Work together as a Flying Gang to complete mission objectives and forge the ultimate Pirate Republic, or add optional Captain Missions that introduce hidden traitors secretly working to undermine the ambitions of others.

In competitive mode, captains race to earn the most Swagger, the game’s victory points, through daring feats and plunder on the high seas. Custom action dice and unique captain cards bring the swashbuckling adventure to life as you attack, strike fear, and duel your way across the West Indies.
