The Last Success: Quadrigame of the War Against Austria, April–July 1809 is a two-player wargame with a playing time of approximately 720 minutes, covering Napoleon’s 1809 Danube Campaign.

Players command either Napoleon’s forces or the Coalition on hex maps representing four major battles. The game uses cards to activate units and trigger events, placing the action within a detailed operational scale of 525 yards (480 meters) per hex, one hour per turn, and 500–800 men per strength point.

The package includes battles from April through July 1809, allowing players to explore separate engagements or connect them through campaign game options. Abensberg and Eckmühl can each be played as individual battle games or combined into a two-map double battle, while Aspern-Essling and Wagram are played on the same map.

With three full-sized maps, two counter sheets, and two card decks, The Last Success offers four separate battles in one package, plus a bonus scenario added during production. Its flexible scenario structure supports focused single-battle play as well as broader campaign possibilities.

The game is part of The Library of Napoleonic Battles (OSG) series, formerly known as the Napoleon’s Last Battles series. It continues that series’ approach to recreating Napoleonic battles through unit command, card-driven activation, events, and hex-map movement.
