About this board game

Wrong Party is a quirky draft-style card game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 30–60 minutes. Build the Greatest Guest List of All Time by matching unusual characters with wildly mismatched party themes.

Each round, players choose from a hand of character and theme cards, sending selections to their Party Area while placing unwanted cards in an Uninvited Guests pile. After making a choice, pass the rest of the hand to the next player and continue drafting.

The fun comes from creating combinations that seem perfectly suited—or spectacularly wrong. What happens when a Baby, a Dentist, a Drug-Sniffing Dog, and a Mall Santa are invited to Slay a Dragon? Could a Killer Clown improve a Royal Wedding? In Wrong Party, the strangest guest list may be the one that scores best.

Players also have opportunities to actively sabotage their opponents, making it harder for rival parties to come together. Once a Party Area is full, players count their points. After 3 rounds, the player with the most points wins.
