About this board game
Dawn of the Zeds is a 1-player horror and survival board game with an approximately 45-minute play time, released in 2011. As a States of Siege solitaire game, it places you in charge of defending Farmingdale and its surrounding villages from a spreading outbreak.
A deadly virus has transformed ordinary people into vicious, zombie-like killers known as Zeds. They are converging on your community while a National Guard relief column organizes and fights its way toward you—a journey that may take days or even weeks.
Your challenge is to coordinate Farmingdale’s defenses and preserve the area and its inhabitants as much as possible. Ordinary citizens may rise as heroes while you work to halt the Zeds’ advance and keep the community from being overwhelmed.
- Fight the advancing Zeds by killing them—and, when necessary, killing them again.
- Discover and implement a cure for the terrible virus.
- Protect the townspeople and preserve your community while awaiting relief.
Dawn of the Zeds demands skill, nerve, and careful attention to several urgent threats at once. You must battle hordes of Zeds without losing sight of the people and places you are trying to save.
Will Farmingdale survive long enough for the National Guard to arrive? In this tense solitaire nightmare, your fate may range from becoming a hero to becoming a hero sandwich.
