About this board game

Fantasy Fluxx is a card game for 2–6 players that takes about 40 minutes to play. Set off on a classic quest as the cards themselves reshape the rules, the available actions, and even the path to victory.

At the start, each player holds three cards. On a turn, draw one card and play one card, then watch the game change as new rules enter play. Cards can alter how many cards players draw or play, how many cards they may keep in hand, and how many they can place on the table.

• Changing rules: New cards can transform drawing, playing, hand limits, and table limits.
• Fantasy companions: Gather the Helpful Elf, Dwarven Warrior, Gallant Swordsman, Wise Old Wizard, and Humble Young Hero.
• Spells and encounters: Learn from the Cranky Magic Teacher and use a Wand to cast Invisibility or Fireball.
• Quest developments: Face the Dreaded Pirate, discover that the Captured Princess is the Mother of Dragons, and prepare for the Final Showdown with the Dark Lord.

The central challenge is staying alert as the rules shift around you. A winning condition may appear just as the cards change what you can draw, play, hold, or keep in front of you, so every turn can reshape the quest.
