The Charge of the 3 Kings: Navas de Tolosa 1212 is a two-player historical battle game about the epic clash between Christian and Muslim armies, with an approximate playing time of 240 minutes.

Set during the Christian campaign against the Almohads, the game recreates Alfonso VIII of Castile’s attempt to avenge his defeat at Alarcos. The crusade brought kings and knights from across the Peninsula and Europe into the campaign, while the divided interests of the Christian kingdoms shaped the wider conflict.

Each player commands five formations and uses both a tactical card deck and a strategic card deck. During a turn, three formations are activated, each in a separate impulse, while players alternate actions. This impulse-based system keeps both sides involved as the battle develops.
