About this board game

Figure It is a deduction game for 2–5 players that takes about 20 minutes to play. Each player receives numbered tiles that they cannot see, while every other player can see them.

Your objective is to discover the numbers in your own set. By studying the tiles visible around the table and considering their distribution, you can use probability and deductive reasoning to work out your hidden code.

On your turn, call out a number that you believe belongs to your set. Every guess is an opportunity to test your logic and narrow down the possibilities. Deduce your numbered tiles before the other players to win.

The tile set contains a carefully arranged range of numbers:

  • Seven “7” tiles
  • Six “6” tiles
  • Five “5” tiles
  • Continuing down to one “1” tile

This distribution gives the game its central puzzle: the tiles held by the other players provide clues about the numbers you cannot see yourself. Careful observation and logical deduction are essential as you attempt to crack your secret code.

With simple rules and a compact playing time, Figure It offers a captivating challenge for the whole family. It is also known as Domemo or Code Mine, and is clearly a variation of Alex Randolph’s Code 777. The first Domemo version from Ravensburger’s 1975 German edition credited P. Halvah, one of Randolph’s pseudonyms.
