About this board game

Industry is an auction-based board game for 3–4 players, with games lasting about 75 minutes. It is a revision of Industria, released in 2010.

Each round, a different player becomes the auctioneer and offers factories for sale using a unique bidding mechanism. Factories provide points and produce raw materials, making each auction an important part of developing your industrial network.

Building factories requires both money and raw materials. Since these resources are in short supply, players must manage them carefully while deciding which opportunities to pursue. Winning a factory is only part of the challenge: you also need the resources to construct it and develop your position.
