Crowbar! The Rangers at Pointe Du Hoc is a solitaire wargame for 1–3 players, with two-player and cooperative variants, that recreates the Rangers’ assault on Normandy’s 100-foot cliffs. A game takes approximately 180 minutes.

Playing as the attacking Rangers, you must press inland under determined German resistance while managing the risks of movement and combat. Your objectives are to find and destroy six concealed 150mm artillery pieces and establish roadblocks on the Vierville-Grandcamp highway before German reinforcements can organize effective counterattacks.

The game traces its parentage to In Magnificent Style, bringing a brisk pace, difficult decisions, and push-your-luck excitement to the Pointe Du Hoc assault. Its updated system replaces the earlier dice matrix with four custom Movement Dice, each offering different results and an escalating risk-and-reward balance.

• Throw Movement Dice one at a time and read the results immediately.
• Confront German counterattacks, ammunition shortages, artillery bombardments, booby traps, and other events.
• Race to complete your objectives before the defenders dig in deeper.
• Measure your performance against the historic accomplishments of the Rangers.

The Rangers must advance despite severe casualties and the danger of being pushed back toward the sea. Every decision can affect how quickly you achieve your mission and how well you withstand the changing battle.
