About this board game

Saga of the Northmen is a 2016 board game for 2–4 players with an approximately 40-minute play time. Each player leads a mighty Northmen clan competing for control, wealth, and renown across Dark Age Europe.

Europe is a dangerous landscape of shifting alliances, warfare, and betrayal. The Northmen arrive to pillage and conquer, seeking the riches of Europe while establishing kingdoms and lucrative trade routes of their own.

Each round, players use their influence cards to compete for control of the seven major kingdoms of Europe. Winning influence gives a clan authority over a kingdom and access to the forces under its sway.
