Dino Race

About this board game

Dino Race is a 2014 board game for 2–4 players, with a play time of about 30 minutes. Players race their dinosaurs across a track in a desperate attempt to escape extinction.

Each player must bring their dinosaur couple to the end of the race track. Speed is essential, but the journey is not straightforward: opponents can use nasty tricks to hinder one another as the dinosaurs push toward safety.

The race passes through a variety of environments, creating a colorful route for the dinosaurs to cross:

• Plains
• Deserts
• Swamps
• Jungles

Players score points when one of their dinosaurs finishes the race. This means every successful finish matters as the competing dinosaurs make their way along the track.

There is another important objective beyond the racing dinosaurs: the dino egg. Players can also score points by bringing the egg to safety, adding an additional goal to the race and another way to improve their score.

With its combination of a race across varied terrain, opponent interference, and multiple scoring opportunities, Dino Race centers on getting dinosaurs safely to the finish. Players must work toward completing their dinosaur couple’s journey while also seeking points from the egg.

Designed for 2–4 players, Dino Race offers a focused race-game experience that can be played in around half an hour. Whether the goal is finishing with a dinosaur or securing the egg, every move contributes to the effort to save these dinosaurs from extinction.
