About this board game

Tulikko is a 2025 tile-laying and optimization game for 2–4 players, played in about 20 minutes. Set in a dreamlike Scandinavian world, it invites players to explore mystical forests inhabited by animal spirits.

Legend tells of Tulikko, the fire fox, who hides among the spirits in the far northern forests. On certain winter nights, he runs so quickly that sparks rise into the sky and become the Northern Lights. In the game, players venture into these forests to discover the territories of the animal spirits and reveal their secrets.

At the heart of Tulikko is a careful tile-selection and arrangement puzzle. Players choose Forest tiles by sliding them from the central board, then place them on their personal boards in the most effective way possible to accommodate their Animal Spirits.
