The Last Hundred Yards: Volume 3 – The Solomon Islands is a standalone two-player tactical game covering fierce small-unit actions from the Solomon Islands Campaign.

Take part in battles for control of Guadalcanal, Bougainville, and New Georgia during some of the most brutal fighting in the Pacific Theater. The game focuses on forces including the 1st Marine Division, the 3rd Marine Division, and the U.S. Army’s 25th Infantry Division.

Lead the 1st Marine Division as it begins the first American ground offensive of the war and fights to secure its foothold around Henderson Airfield. Command the 3rd Marine Division in bitter jungle combat on Bougainville, where it must hold and expand a beachhead against the Imperial Japanese 6th Infantry Division.

You can also serve with the 25th Infantry Division’s famed 27th Regiment, the “Wolfhounds,” as it attacks Japanese positions on Guadalcanal’s Galloping Horse Ridge and fights through the jungle around Munda Point for the airfield on New Georgia. Across these actions, American forces must route out fanatical Japanese units concealed in bunkers and pillboxes.
