About this board game

Doom Pilgrim is a grim medieval card adventure listed for 1–4 players, with a playing time of about 120 minutes. Designed as a solo roguelike journey, it casts you as a doubtful hero struggling through a miserable fate in an open world filled with mortal dangers and cruelty.

The game is played with 90 cards, each featuring images on the front and text on the back. On every turn, draw three cards from the deck representing your future. Without yet knowing their events, choose one path to reject, one to postpone, and one to take, using only the images as your guide.

Reveal the chosen card and read its story. The text presents decisions and applies any resulting changes, losses, or gains to your character sheet or a piece of paper. Your journey may include fights, NPCs, equipment, and strange encounters, creating a dark gamebook-style adventure shaped by your choices.
