All Is Bomb

About this board game

All Is Bomb is a quick, puzzly solo or cooperative card game for 1–2 players that takes about 15 minutes to play. As a royal servant, you must prepare the perfect breakfast for a sleeping princess—even though every card, dish, prophet, and person is destined to explode.

Your challenge is to manipulate an 18-card deck while keeping the right cards in play. After the initial setup, there are no random or hidden elements: each turn, choose one of your equipped cards. Its number determines which card you equip next, then you resolve its action and recycle the played card back into the deck.

Cards progress from a passive state to an ignited state before ultimately being discarded, so the deck is always on the brink of exploding. You must make careful decisions about what to play and when, avoiding the loss of too many cards—or cards that are too important—before your plan is complete.

To win, you must fulfill three linked objectives:

• Play Prophet cards to discover the desired dish.
• Prepare that dish by igniting it.
• Play the Princess to equip the desired dish.

All Is Bomb turns a simple breakfast into a tightly controlled chain of card effects and escalating danger. The game also includes six modular expansions, a variant, and a campaign, giving you additional ways to approach its explosive puzzle.
