Smash Up: 10th Anniversary is a 2–4 player game with an approximate 45-minute play time, released in 2022. This celebratory set introduces new factions, a new way to play, and plenty of goodies for fans of Smash Up.

Its standout feature is Big Base mode. Instead of placing multiple bases during setup, players use one large base in the center of the table. A base card remains revealed, but only its ability applies, affecting all four sides of the Big Base.

Each side functions like a separate base for card effects and contains three slots. When you play or move a Minion or Action onto a base, choose a side and place the card into a slot. Once you have cards on a side, all of your cards there must occupy the same slot, although you choose a slot when first entering or re-entering that side.

• Passive slot effects can provide benefits such as +1 Power on that side.
• On occupation effects trigger when you enter an empty slot, with examples including drawing two cards and discarding two.
• In a four-player game, a fourth virtual slot has no ability.

Big Base mode gives the game a clearly defined structure: exactly three scoring periods, each made up of three rounds, for a total of nine rounds. With its new factions and distinctive central board, Smash Up: 10th Anniversary offers a fresh way to experience the game while marking a decade of Smash Up.
