About this board game

Sons of Faeriell is a strategic eurogame for 1–4 players, with games lasting around 120 minutes. In the verdant land of Faeriell, forests, mountains, and lakes are threatened by the spreading menace of Corruption.

Players guide different Tribes of Weybits, the tiny and industrious humanoids known as the youngest sons of Faeriell. Everyone must help contain Corruption and support the Great Guardians, giant keeper animals that have watched over the land since remote times. At the same time, each player pursues individual Achievements, creating a balance between the shared danger and personal ambition.

The Weybit Heroes can be customized from the beginning with Tribe Masks. Each mask color provides a different specialization, while Perks acquired during the game add abilities and make every character unique. Through these upgrades, Weybits can become increasingly efficient helpers to the Great Guardians, master the knowledge of nature, and learn to fight Corruption.

A potential traitor mechanic adds an additional twist. One player may choose to change sides, become corrupted, and gain the Corruption Sower as a new Hero. If Corruption defeats all the others, the corrupted player can win instead.

To win as a faithful defender, collect the most Achievements without allowing Corruption to overcome Faeriell. With its shifting loyalties and multiple possible conclusions, Sons of Faeriell turns every playthrough into a different story to unfold.
