Smug Owls is a 20-minute riddle-answering game for 3–15 players, released in 2023. A magic deck creates never-before-seen riddles, and everyone races to invent a response.

There is no single correct way to answer. Your response can be funny, punny, clever, profound, or nonsensical—in short, it can be anything. The challenge is to come up with an answer that stands out while the other players are still thinking.

When you are ready, slap your hand on the table. Keep crafting answers until only one player is left. That player takes on the role of the Smug Owl, listening to all the answers before rewarding their favorite.
