Elsenborn Ridge: Tactical Combat During the Battle of the Bulge is a two-player tactical wargame with 35 scenarios and an approximate playing time of 60 minutes. It covers the fierce fighting between the American First Army and Germany’s Sixth SS Panzer Army and Fifth Panzer Army in late December 1944.

This standalone entry in the Panzer Grenadier series requires no other game in the series. Its scenarios portray major clashes across the wooded hills of the Ardennes, including the heroic stand at St. Vith, the fighting at Krinkelt’s “panzer graveyard,” the American defense of Elsenborn Ridge, and the collapse of the 106th Infantry Division.

Players encounter a broad range of American and German forces. The battles include fierce tank engagements and infantry actions, with American paratroopers, German Tiger II tanks, American P47 fighter-bombers, German “Nebelwerfer” rocket launchers, German regular army units, and Waffen SS troops represented among the game’s pieces.
