About this board game
Le Grand Voyage is a racing game for 2–8 players, playable in around 30 minutes, about the migration of birds from Europe to Africa. Everyone plays at the same time, creating a shared race against the dangers of the journey.
Choose a migratory bird species from eight possible options. Each species has its own destination, and your goal is to be the first to reach it. The route is far from safe, so every flight requires careful choices and a strategy for overcoming the perils along the way.
During the game, you make a series of flights with your scout counter. Advance it as far as possible, searching for the best path forward while trying not to succumb to the hazards that await the migrating birds. Timing is essential: you must land before it is too late to advance your species.
