About this board game

The Kakapo: Buddy & Party is a cooperative trick-taking and puzzle game for 2–4 players, with a playing time of about 30 minutes.

Players take on the roles of members of KAKAPO, a special organization made up of bird conservation groups. Working together, the team must clear each given mission by surrounding the target bird with puzzle pieces.

The challenge comes from coordinating without being able to freely discuss the information in front of you. Because the birds are sensitive to human voices, conversation is limited during play. Players cannot exchange information about their cards or tell one another which puzzle pieces to select.
