About this board game

TOKYO SIDEKICK is a cooperative game for 2–4 players, with each game taking about 60 minutes. Inspired by superhero comics and Japanese pop culture, it challenges a team of heroes and sidekicks to save Tokyo from spreading crime.

Each player controls a hero and sidekick, and every pair has a unique backstory and special abilities. Working together, you must respond to increasingly powerful villains while the danger across the city continues to grow.

As the heroes advance, they unlock new items, gain stronger abilities, and level up their characters. These improvements are essential as the threats become more powerful and the pressure to protect Tokyo increases.

Victory depends on defeating the final boss before the city is overwhelmed. The team can be defeated if crime reaches dangerous levels, the heroes take too much damage, or the final boss remains standing.
