About this board game
Adeptus Titanicus: The Horus Heresy is a two-player tabletop game of devastating combat between colossal Titans, with games lasting about 250 minutes. Set during the civil war that tore the galaxy apart, it challenges players to direct awe-inspiring bipedal war engines in a battle to the death.
Victory depends on tactical skill and careful resource management. Players must determine the best reactions to the changing battlefield while handling movement, attacks, weapon systems, damage, and the status of their machines. The 96-page hardback rules book covers everything from basic play to advanced and optional rules that add substantial tactical complexity.
The Rules Set includes Command Terminals for Warlord, Reaver, and Warhound Titans, as well as Questoris Knight Banners. Titan Weapon cards track deployed armaments and show when weapons are disabled, while Mission and Stratagem cards provide a convenient reference for the included scenarios and tactical options.
- Battlefield Assets including a Macro Cannon Battery, Apocalypse Missile Strongpoint, Command Bastion, Plasma Generator, Communications Relay, and Void Shield Relay
- Status markers, Titan designation markers, arc templates, blast markers, and a flame template for tabletop play
- Reference sheets covering game phases, Orders, Repair Actions, modifiers, weapon traits, and major damage tables
- 21 dice, including Reactor, Hit Location, Order, Adeptus Titanicus, numbered D10, and Scatter dice
With its detailed tracking tools and broad selection of rules and accessories, Adeptus Titanicus: The Horus Heresy presents a focused contest of battlefield decisions and catastrophic firepower.
